He could feel the sweat accumulating in his palms that awkwardly sat at his side. Beside him was a bright lizard with a tail lit ablaze. She paced around, her tail thrashing around as she waited for her meek trainer to make a choice. Some parts of the short grass turned crispy and black. [break][break] He felt much like how he imagined a child would if randomly shoved into the wilds to find pokemon. Lacking in confidence and unsure how to start. His tongue moved dryly behind his teeth, fighting with his internal thoughts. Thankfully it was a cloudless day, the blue sky shined brightly down on them. The warmth filled Saffron with a drop of comfort. [break][break] Tangerine let out a frustrated sound and her flame raised a little higher. [break][break] “I know, I’m just nervous,” He said, forehead filling with creases. It was a bit pathetic coming from a grown man. “It’s just important to make good impressions,” He added, now trying to stall himself sometime. [break][break] Tag; @/open! This is Saffron’s first encounter/dw and he’s very nervous and has a bit of an emotional/trauma barrier he has to get through. Looking for someone to either encourage and lift or belittle and scorn.
